Once you leave the Basilica of San Pietro, passing in front of the mighty fortress of Castel Sant’Angelo (Musoleo di Augusto), you will be transported and left along the Tiber to begin a walking tour, a splendid stroll in the heart of Rome. The guide will accompany you to discover Parliament Square, Piazza Colonna (Column of Marcus Aurelius), the Trevi Fountain, the Temple of Hadrian, the Pantheon, and Piazza Navona. In the vicinity of Piazza Navona or Piazza Campo de Fiori, you will have the opportunity to have a (one-hour) lunch break in a typical Roman restaurant/pizzeria.

After lunch, the guide will take you aboard the vehicle to the center of ancient Rome. The visit will include a view of the Roman Forum and a guided tour of the Colosseum.

During the various transfers in the city, it will be possible to admire many other monuments, the Circus Maximus, the Mouth of Truth, the Theater of Marcellus, the Campidoglio, the Palatine Hill Piazza Venezia, the Forum of Trajan, the Arch of Constantine, etc.
